Short answer
A stock perfume bottle order with logo decoration has four stages: a written quote (within 24 hours at QARURA), samples and your approval, production of usually 15–30 working days after sample approval and payment, and shipping, which depends on courier, air or sea freight. Custom mold bottles take longer because drawings, tooling and mold samples come first. Plan backwards from the date your filler needs the parts, not from the launch date.
What are the stages of a perfume bottle order?
| Stage | What happens | Typical time |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Quote | You send bottle, quantity and date; we reply with a checked parts list and price | Within 24 hours |
| 2. Samples | Bottle, pump and cap samples are prepared and sent to you | Confirmed in your quote |
| 3. Your testing | You fill with your perfume and check leaks, spray and fit | A few days to a week |
| 4. Decoration proof | Logo position and colour approved on a sample or digital proof | Confirmed in your quote |
| 5. Production | Bottles decorated, parts made or picked, full set fit-checked and packed | 15–30 working days after sample approval and payment |
| 6. Shipping | Express courier, air freight or sea freight to your address or forwarder | Depends on method and destination; quoted separately |
Your written quote confirms the timeline for your items.
Why are lead times counted in working days?
Working days exclude weekends and Chinese public holidays. Two holidays matter most: Chinese New Year (January or February), when many factories close for several weeks, and National Day in the first week of October. If your production would cross either one, place the order earlier or expect the dates to move.
What slows a perfume bottle order down?
- Changing artwork after the proof is approved.
- A spray-coated colour, which needs its own setup and often a larger quantity.
- Designing the box before the bottle and cap are final.
- Missing details: neck size, crimp or screw, dip tube length.
- Late sample feedback. Production starts after approval, so every day of waiting moves delivery.
- Choosing sea freight for a small, urgent order.
How do you plan backwards from a launch date?
- Start with your launch date.
- Subtract the time your perfumer needs to fill, crimp and box.
- Subtract shipping time for the method you chose.
- Subtract 15–30 working days for production.
- Subtract sample and approval time.
- The result is the latest date to request your quote. Add a buffer if a Chinese holiday falls in between.

How long does a custom mold bottle take?
A bottle from your own mold adds design drawings, mold making and mold samples before production, and starts from 3,000 pieces. Tooling time is quoted once the drawing has been reviewed. See stock bottle or custom mold and custom molds.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to make perfume bottles?
At QARURA, stock perfume bottles with logo decoration usually take 15–30 working days after sample approval and payment. Custom mold bottles take longer.
How can I get perfume bottles faster?
Choose a stock bottle with a standard pump and catalog cap, keep decoration to one-colour screen print or hot foil, reply quickly on samples, and ship by express or air.
How long does shipping perfume bottles from China take?
It depends on the method and destination. Express courier is fastest, sea freight is slowest and cheapest per piece. Shipping is quoted separately for each destination.
