Perfume Boxes and Inserts: A Practical Guide

Updated 2026-10-15 · QARURA buyer guide

Short answer

Perfume is usually packed in either a folding carton (light, economical, retail standard) or a rigid box (thick greyboard, gift-quality), with an insert that holds the bottle and cap still. Both are made to the exact bottle size, so choose the bottle first, then the box. Small runs start from 300 pieces.

Inserts

Inserts are cut in EVA foam, moulded pulp, folded paperboard or velvet-wrapped card. Pulp and paperboard are the most recyclable; EVA gives the tightest hold for heavy caps.
